Recently, the inventor of the AstraZeneca vaccine, Dame Sarah Gilbert, received a massive appreciation at the 2021 Wimbledon event. For her great work in helping to deal with the pandemic, Sarah received a standing ovation from the audience who filled the Wimbledon Center Field.
Sarah is a British vaccine expert and Professor of Vaccinology at the University of Oxford. Known for her expertise in developing influenza vaccines and new viral pathogens, Sarah has experience leading universal flu vaccine testing in early 2011.

The vaccine is unconventional because it works to produce T-cells to fight the flu, not by stimulating antibody production.

After completing her studies at the University of East Anglia with a Bachelor of Science degree in biological sciences, Sarah continued her doctoral studies at the University of Hull, majoring in genetics and biochemistry of the yeast Rhodosporidium toruloides.

In an interview with the BBC, Sarah once admitted to being swayed during her doctoral studies. At that time he realized, science was not in accordance with the wishes of his heart. Unexpectedly, his tenacity in science led him to take part in handling the COVID-19 pandemic.

"There are some scientists who are happy to be working more or less alone on one subject for a very long time... That's not how I enjoy working. I like to try to consider ideas from many different fields," Sarah said. BBC, Friday (23/7/2021).

"I did consider leaving science at the time, so I could do something different."
Working with Indonesian students
The good news is that one of the members of the research team that invented the AstraZeneca vaccine is a student from Indonesia, namely Indra Rudiansyah, a doctoral student in the Clinical Medicine Program, Jenner Institute, Oxford University.

In January 2020, Indra participated in testing the Corona virus vaccine with British scientists, including Sarah Gilbert. Indra joined the Jenner Institute Team and the Oxford Vaccine Group because initially, the research laboratory was understaffed and needed assistance.

In a video uploaded by Youtube Deutsche Bank in February 2021 entitled "The Oxford Vaccine: Meet The Team Behind The Breakthrough", Indra said that he is focused on developing vaccines for infectious diseases such as HIV, Ebola, and other diseases that have the potential to cause pandemics such as SARS, MERS, and now COVID-19.

Appreciated in the country
Indra Rudiansyah's name echoes in the country. He was appreciated by cara untung main togel a number of figures, such as politician Budiman Sudjatmiko.

"Congratulations & thank you, Indra Rudiansyah, who did not forget to call himself from Indonesia as part of the Oxford AstraZeneca Vaccine research team. Longevity, Humanity! Longevity, Science! BTW I miss this British accent," wrote Budiman Sudjatmiko on his Twitter page.

On another occasion, Indra's work in the AstraZeneca vaccine discovery team was appreciated by the government spokesman for COVID-19, Dr Reisa Broto Asmoro.

"A big thank you to Indra Rudiansyah, a son of Indonesia, an employee of Bio Farma, who was involved in the discovery of the AstraZeneca vaccine led by Professor Sarah Gilbert," said government spokesman for the handling of COVID-19, Dr Reisa Broto Asmoro, in a press conference, Wednesday ( 21/7/2021).
